Have you ever read Walker Percy's novel <A HREF="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0375701966/qid=1004019395/sr=2-1/ref=sr_2_11_1/107-7150132-3782922" target="_new">The Moviegoer</A>? Its one of those classic "Catcher In The Rye" kinda books. I haven't read it in years, but I remember really enjoying it. Moviegoing is a great solitary activity.
