I have been reading your blog for a while and happened to be in Washington D.C. when you were last weekend and were practically in some of the same places at the same time yet didn't run into you. I was at Arlington Cemetary Friday about 10:00am and took a tour of it. Then on Sunday I went to Union Station about 3:00pm and had dinner at Johnny Rockets and was at Union Station until about 7:00pm... I did some shopping in the various stores. I couldn't believe that place was so much like a mall. Sounds like you had a great trip. By the way, I am from California.
