Gee, i can’t help but think that their publicist was a wee-bit stunned by the Gay Community’s decidely negative, and ever-so-well-publicised, reaction to interview snub.
Sounds like someone on the Hamm marketing team might have miscalculated just where their better (read: stronger/well-connected/well-healed) supporters might have been.
Who knows: Maybe now we just might facilitate Hamm’s Wheaties photo-op. It’s amazing what doors open when a friendly hand is extended our way — with sincerity, mind you.

Aww, it sounds like the Hamm brothers themselves are genuinely cool and comfortable with The Gay (and love their queer relatives). Which just makes me want to pinch their cheeks and bake them pies even MORE.
I’m glad they got a chance to finally talk with the gay press, and I hope their publicist has learned a lesson.
Publicists can be total schmucks.
