Could you possibly provide a synopsis of Mr. Hall’s “dark night”? I actually have been dropping in on links.net for some years, so I am curious– but 74 megabytes seems just a tiny bit much to download.
synopsis: Hall is in emotional turmoil over a girl, and the misery of lonelyness in general. As he speaks to the camera a piece of text apears telling us “I had a sort of breakdown in January 2005”. Then “I felt accutely alone”. Hall describes his isolation in what seem like fairly impersonal terms, but breaks down as he does so. Later he speaks to a friend on a wireless headphone attachment, but we hear only one side of his conversation. Its enormously self indulgent, but somehow affecting. It seems unaccountably..sincere.
