Today is the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s election to the presidency. This year, the JFK Library created a Twitter feed to recreate JFK’s 1960 presidential campaign. Here’s the latest tweet, from earlier today: “Heads to Hyannisport to await election returns.”

What an impact Kennedy made on America. I love hearing and/or reading any stories about his presidency. I was so excited when I noticed that there is a new book out titled about JFK titled, “The Kennedy Detail” by Gerald Blaine. The book takes a completely different angle to the assassination… it takes you inside the Secret Service during President John F. Kennedy’s administration—gives a window into history like never seen before.
