I wonder if any of my readers can answer a question for me. How do I contact a particular writer, screenwriter, playwright, etc.? Do I send a letter care of the publisher? If so, does it have to be the most recent publisher, or can it be any publisher that has published that person’s work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It depends entirely on who it is. Some have agents manage their mail, others have publishers, etc etc. Is this to send your work to someone?
It’s Craig Lucas, playwright and screenwriter. I corresponded with him briefly a couple of years ago after he read one of my blog entries, but his current email address no longer works. I’d like to send him a letter and see if he’d feel like reading my screenplay and maybe give me some advice on my writing.

Hey Jeff, you might want to delete or obscure Craig’s email and phone number, now that you have it. It probably isn’t the best thing to have that stuff floating around the web, even if it’s just your comment section.
